Job Opportunity – Cruise Information Officer

We’re passionate about showcasing the beauty, culture, and attractions of our region, and we’re seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic Cruise Information Officers to join us!
Responsibilities:
- Welcome cruise guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, answer questions and make suggestions regarding their time in port
- Distribute maps, brochures, and other promotional materials to help visitors navigate the area
- Stay up-to-date on local events, attractions, and amenities to provide accurate and current information to visitors
- Uphold standards for cleanliness and safety in the work environment (eg: information kiosk)
- Effectively communicate workplace concerns and suggestions for improvement through proper channels
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the local area, including attractions, landmarks, and amenities
- Ability to work harmoniously in team settings, navigate conflicts, and welcome constructive feedback
- Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Ability to speak French, German and/or Italian is preferred but not required
- Flexibility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required
