Corner Brook Port Corporation Issues RFP for Five-Year Strategic Plan

The Corner Brook Port Corporation (CBPC) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to lead the development of a new five-year strategic plan (2026–2031).
Over the past five years, the Port has undergone tremendous growth, building on its strong cruise operations while emerging as a key industrial gateway and Newfoundland and Labrador’s direct link to global markets. With a significant increase in workforce, record cargo throughput, and major capital investments, the Port plans to continue this momentum, exploring the potential for a new berth and additional laydown space to meet rising demand.
To guide this momentum, CBPC is inviting consultants with proven expertise to deliver a forward-looking, actionable roadmap that will:
- Define a clear mission, vision, and values for 2026–2031
- Identify strategic priorities and measurable goals
- Align the board, staff, and stakeholders around a shared vision
- Support sustainable growth, operational and infrastructure development, community engagement, and environmental stewardship
